Arts Initiatives Fund
Rice University’s Arts Initiatives Fund (AIF) were administered by SIDE from 2012-2014. The AIF grants aim to stimulate experimentation and collaboration in creativity and the arts across the entire campus. These grants are intended to help faculty members develop new projects focused on creativity and the arts that lead to more lasting partnerships, innovative arts making or teaching environments, cross-disciplinary collaborations, or unusually creative works. In particular, the AIF grants are focused on programming that will become a part of or utilize the new Moody Center for the Arts, opening in 2016.
Moody Center Executive Director Alison Weaver will now oversee administration of the Arts Initiatives Fund, and we are excited to see what projects and programs take shape under her direction.
Please see our Past Awards page to learn more about the grants awarded through this fund.
